Oregon fishing report for Feb 1

Portland, Oregon's fishing reports indicate improving conditions with upcoming rain expected to boost steelhead activity in various rivers. Meldrum Bar is showing promise for hatchery steelhead, while the Clackamas River remains challenging but may improve soon. The Sandy River is cold but offers potential. North and Central Coast fishing remains slow, but bottom fishing and clam digging are productive. The Upper Willamette River system forecasts good spring Chinook returns, enhancing fishing opportunities.
