Rain is expected in SW Washington, enhancing fishing conditions. Steelhead fishing has been slow due to low water levels. The Lewis River is at low flow, with few fish caught. The Kalama River is also low, with limited success reported. Cowlitz River hatchery activities included releasing steelhead. The Washougal River saw minimal catches. Fishing at Merwin Lake is challenging while clamming at Long Beach is less popular due to cold weather.
